Many people have problems with their earphone cables becoming tangled and knotted in their pocket, bag or down the back of the sofa. So what's the solution?
ZenPlugs have developed the Cable Core. This is a new device which has been especially designed to solve the problem of your wires looking like spaghetti junction.
"We spent a considerable amount of time testing our competitor's products. This was to find out what was good and what was bad about the other cable tidies on the market", says Toby Bateson, Managing Director of ZenPlugs.
"So many of them didn't work at all, the wire wouldn't stay wound on the tidy, or the tidy wasn't big enough to hold all of the wire from the headphones. We decided we could definitely do better."
The Cable Core is a simple but effective design. It has a scalloped edge down each side and is made of a gently pliable rubberised plastic. It flexes gently in your pocket so it doesn't dig into your leg, as well as gripping the wire gently. It has slots which are just the right size to hold the wire and stop it slipping out. Two sizes are available, one for earphones and chargers and the other for studio headphones.
